Toronto Hypnotherapy Clinic Change Worker Vs Therapist!
Toronto Hypnotherapy Clinic Change Worker Vs Therapist. HypnoPunk here from Lukenosis Hypnosis. What's the difference between a change worker and a therapist?
Well, oftentimes a therapist is someone you'll continue to go to weekly, potentially for years and years and years, counselors, psychotherapists, psychiatrists. And you'll go over your problems over and over again, and you'll feel a little bit better at the end, but by the time next week rolls around, next session, you'll continue to feel those shitty feelings 'cause it's not results-orientated.
In other words what I do as a change worker is very, very results-orientated. The smoker comes to me 'cause they want to quit smoking.
The person who's drinking too much comes to me 'cause they want to stop drinking. An example is the child who comes to me who's peeing the bed is coming to me not because they want to talk about it, but because they want to stop it.
I'm in the business of helping people get out of their own way, not just by jibber-jabbering on, 'cause you probably know your problem better than I ever will, but by letting it go, learning from it, and getting the result you want, and getting resolution.
So I ask you, what do you want, a change worker or a therapist?
